Mission Statement

PPCM is a hands-on educational destination in Colorado Springs that engages learners of all ages by sparking creativity, discovery and life-long learning through purposeful play.

Vision

Our vision is to build trusted partnerships and be an inclusive community organization offering educational resources and unique opportunities to inspire children and families.

The express objectives of PPCM are to provide:

  • A new local destination for residents and tourists as a dynamic hands-on, engaging and fun educational
    experience focused on the age group 0-10.
  • An educational laboratory for children to encounter boundless opportunities for discovery and
    imagination, sparking a passion for life-long learning. To bridge the gap between school and community and bring together districts, schools, teachers and staff in a collaborative effort to keep kids playing so they continue to love learning,
  • A compelling environment to nurture wonder and creativity, encouraging children’s innate desire to explore the world around them by creating a space that advocates for children.
  • A community resource as an indispensable resource for children, families, the community at large and
    elementary-level educators as a mutually beneficial connecting point.
